In the final of our Cleveland Churches series we look at Trinity Cathedral, the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio. Trinity Parish goes all the way back to 1816 in the town Brooklyn Ohio, outside of Cleveland. It moved into its current home in downtown Cleveland in 1907. The English Perpendicular Gothic structure is made of Indiana limestone. The cathedral is cruciform in plan, with a square central tower rising above the crossing.

Today, the congregation is still very active. According to their website, they were downtown Cleveland’s first green building. They are known for their lunch time brown bag concert series every Wednesday beginning in October as well as other numerous music programs.

We hope you enjoyed a look at some of Cleveland’s churches through this series.
