Tour Length

The Downtown Highlights, Cleveland From the Inside & Downtown Public Art walking tours are approximately 2 hours in length. The Tales of Terror and Downtown Cleveland Christmas tours are 1.5 hours.

Meeting Spot

Our walking tours meet in Public Square in front of the statue of Mayor Tom Johnson. This is the statue of a man sitting in a chair. It is located on the north side (closest to the lake) of the square, in the middle. It is across the street from Old Stone Church located at 91 Public Square.

Parking

We would suggest the Memorial Plaza Parking Garage underneath Mall A. The address is 300 St. Clair but Google Maps will take you to the Il Venetian Restaurant in the Marriott Hotel. The garage is underneath the green space between the Marriott Hotel and the Drury Plaza Hotel. The entrance ramp is closer to the Drury. It is a short walk to Public Square from there. Alternatives would be the Tower City Parking garage or the Jack Casino Parking garage. Remember street parking is free on Saturdays, Sundays and after 6:00 pm any day of the week but follow the signs and posted restrictions.

Best Parking is a website to use to compare parking prices for garages and surface lots downtown.

Returning to the Starting Point

For tours ending in Playhouse Square, it is about a 10 – 15 minute walk, straight back up Euclid Ave to return to the starting point.

What to Wear

On your tour of Cleveland the most important thing to remember is to – wear comfortable shoes! The tour is outside for the most part so dress comfortably for the weather. Always recommended – bring some water to stay hydrated. Tours are rain or shine, so bring an umbrella if it looks like rain.
