The 50th Anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice’s groundbreaking rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar opens its national tour here in Cleveland Tuesday, March 10 at the Connor Palace theater. Cleveland not only kicks the tour off but will have an exclusive musical enhancement. In addition to the 11-piece ensemble of touring musicians, only at Playhouse Square, an additional 22 Northeast Ohio strings players will be added to create an epic 33-piece orchestra surround sound performance!
Jesus Christ Superstar is an iconic musical known throughout the world. This production pays tribute to the historic 1971 Billboard Album of the Year while giving us something fresh and relevant.
