The Downtown Highlights Christmas Edition walking tour is a stroll down Euclid Ave that focuses Cleveland history specifically looking at the rich history of Cleveland’s famous department stores and their Christmas traditions. Included in the price of your tour is a hot chocolate from Pour Cleveland. Our Cleveland Christmas Tours are offered every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in December.
Explore Cleveland at Christmas
We begin in Public Square and make our way down to Playhouse Square. We talk about Cleveland Christmas traditions like the Twigbee Shop and the filming of “A Christmas Story” at the Higbee’s, Mr. Jingeling at Halle Bros. and the Christmas tree at Sterling Lindner. We will visit inside the Arcade, the Cleveland Trust Company Building and Playhouse Square including the Festival of Trees inside the Allen (when open). Grab your picture on the mini “set” of “A Christmas Story” in the Allen while holding a placard with your favorite saying from the movie. I triple dog dare you!
This is a great way to spend the holiday season with friends, co-workers and family.
