It was announced that the tall ships will be making a stop in Cleveland July 11- 14, 2019 as part of the Tall Ships Challenge Great Lakes. They will be making several stops throughout the summer including Buffalo on Independence Day and Toronto, Canada on Canada Day. The festivities will include day sails and waterfront activities.
This past summer, I got to visit the tall ships when they were in Sandusky, Ohio. It was a lot of fun to climb aboard, go down into the ships and learn about them. At this point the exact list is not available but the Brig Niagara (which was in Sandusky) and is a reconstructed ship like the one that helped Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry win the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812, is likely.
Looking forward to seeing to this great event next summer here in Cleveland!
