I finally made it to the Tiffany in Bloom special exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art this past week. It was awesome! I highly recommend checking it out and best of all, it is free!
We have so many connections to Tiffany in Cleveland – the four stained glass windows in the Old Stone Church, the regular pieces at the Cleveland Museum of Art and Wade Chapel on the grounds of Lake View Cemetery.
The Tiffany in Bloom special exhibit contains 20 of Tiffany’s table and floor stained glass lamps. Many of the works featured were done by Ohio native, Clara Driscoll, who became head of the Women’s Glass Cutting Department at Tiffany’s studios. The exhibit will be here through June 14, 2020.
Cleveland Museum of Art
One of the great things about the Cleveland Museum of Art, is it is free! “For the benefit of all the people forever.” I moved here from the Washington, DC area and they know a thing or two about museums, but the Cleveland Museum of Art rival’s anything there.
