Bonjour! This afternoon, I am hosting students from Highlands High School on a walking tour of downtown Cleveland. The group will be comprised of American and French students who are part of their Intercultural Program. So to honor our French guests, today we highlight the Si Jolie! French Fashion in Cleveland exhibit currently at the Cleveland History Center.
Si Jolie! is all about French fashion and its influence here in Cleveland. The exhibit contains fashions from the 1870’s to the present and included are some of the biggest names in French fashion like Dior, Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent and many more. The exhibit also looks at the influence French fashion had on our local departments of the time like Halles Bros. and Higbee’s.
The exhibit is here through June of 2020. It is one of the many exhibits included in the Cleveland History Center. Check out the Crawford Automobile and Aviation Museum or take a guided tour of the Hay-McKinney Mansion while you are there.
