Before the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stood on the shores of Lake Erie, back in 1936 & 1937, the site was home to the Great Lakes Exposition. This was a World’s Fair style event that drew over 11 million visitors! It included a pop up store from Higbees, Billy Rose’s Aquacade where Johnny Weissmuller performed and rides in the Goodyear Blimp.
