The Schofield Building is on the corner of E. 9th St and Euclid Ave at the heart of downtown Cleveland. The building was designed by architect Levi Schofield on land owned by his family. Originally built as an 14 story office building, today it is home to the Kimpton hotel as well as apartments.
Next time you are downtown (or on one of our walking tours) take a look four stories down from the top, in between each set of windows, you will see pictures of the Solider’s and Sailor’s Monument (designed by Schofield), his name spelled out and 1901 (the year the building was built).
