Cleveland History Days run from June 22 to July 1. They celebrate the wonderful and long history of Cleveland. Here are three great ways to celebrate that history (any time).
- Take a walking tour with Tours of Cleveland. Our Downtown Highlights hits all the great highlights of downtown in one tour. The tour is offered in the morning, afternoon and evening. The schedule varies so consult the Book Tour page of our website for the latest times.
- Visit the Cleveland History Center. This is truly a great museum located in the University Circle area that takes you from the beginnings of the city to the present. See the Crawford Automobile and Aviation museum, ride the old Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel and stroll through two historic mansions.
- Visit the Cleveland Public Library. The sixth floor of the Louis Stokes wing of the downtown branch has a section on local history. You will be amazed at the numbers of books on everything from famous Cleveland residents, neighborhoods, department stores, cemeteries and places long gone!
