In the Eastman Reading Garden at the Cleveland Public Library downtown, you will find some tiny library patrons “hanging” around. They are a collection of bronze statues created by Tom Otterness. They were installed back in 1998. Some are climbing the gate, some are on benches, window sills and planters. These whimsical little fellows lead you into the garden which a great place to take a break, enjoy a good read or nice cup of coffee. The garden sits in between the original library building from 1925 and the new Louis Stokes wing dedicated in 1997.
