I recently got to tour the new and improved Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. I love a good tour! The FieldHouse is of course the home to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Monsters. The team from Member Services there took us all around the FieldHouse, highlighting the new space, restaurants, bars, private clubs and artwork throughout the facility. I have to say, I was impressed!
We also got a special tour of the Cavaliers locker room! That was the one place we could not take pictures. But wow! I stood in front of Kevin Love’s locker and saw a pair of his tennis shoes – HUGE! We got to walk out on the court as if we were part of the team and hang out on center court. We checked out some the suites and various venues on all the levels.
They have renamed the levels in the facility to make it easier to maneuver about. Technology is incorporated throughout, including electronic scanners to open the suites, the power portal – a fully-immersive audio visual walkway and self checkout at some of the dining options.
Art and history are a big part of the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as well. Huge murals, light displays and sculptures are throughout as well as panels highlighting the great places around Cleveland and moments in Cleveland history. Check out the 20 foot mouse statue by international artist KAWS.
