Tonight, July 6, 2018 the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra will perform downtown on the mall in celebration of their 100 year anniversary as well as Independence Day. There will be food trucks prior to the show and fireworks after. The Cleveland Symphony Orchestra is considered one of the best in the world! The concert is free and should be a real treat.
To help in the celebration the Today Show sent meteorologist Dylan Dreyer to Cleveland to do the weather, interview some of the Symphony Staff and catch several performances by a quartet from the group. I was lucky enough to go down this morning and watch the filming and even made it on the show, in the background!
Local meteorologist, Matt Wintz from Channel 3 even stopped by too. Both Dylan and Matt were so nice. It was great having the Today Show in Cleveland, hopefully next time they will be here long enough to join Tours of Cleveland on a walking tour of downtown Cleveland!
